I am waiting patiently. They are making weird noises I haven't heard, so when can I expect an egg, they are about 18 weeks.

I have 25 in my hen pen...2 older gals and 23 16-22 weeks...
So for the last 2 days I have gotten 1 egg! 1 working... 24 on free loading feed.So far my best day has been 3 eggs-both older gals and a red leghorn.Oh, they do the nesting boxes,the egg song just don't leave the darn egg

I came home with my TSC chicks on March 28, 4 White Leghorns and 2 Barred Rocks. I got my first little pullet egg last week and now I am getting 2-3 eggs a day. Today I just got my first large egg, all of the rest have been tiny things. All of the eggs have been in the nest except for one which was on the droppings tray and I am pretty sure that it came from one of the BR. I hope you all get your eggs soon!
