Alpaca Feed question

They have a stone corral, but are light animals on the pasterns, They aren't tippy toe walkers.
The feed amount is on that payback bag half a pound a day per 150 pounds of critter.
half a pound a day. Easy then find a scoop that will fit that and just keep it in their feed.
Each female is probably about 150.

Ok, and that is in addition to pasture and hay?

Thanks so much, I really do appreciate. Been to navigate new ownership on many levels (we werent quite prepared, like I said, so I've been rushing to get them nice and secure and safe, fence off our fruit tree orchard, etc.

They are all sweethearts at least

Yes, that 8 ounces a day per 150 pound of animal is in addition to quality hay/pasture.
We used to do flakes of hay, but since I bale round bales that's what I plop into their feeder.

Keep them away from apple, cherry, and pear trees as well as maple and oak.

I do let my chew grapevine from the local vinyard.

Plenty of fresh water is a thing. We've honestly found 5 gallon buckets the easiest. They go through them quickly and therefor get changed a LOT. :)

Apple, cherry, and pear trees are what we have! I assume it makes them sick? I fenced off some but not all, sounds like I am back to work.
