Alpine Goats & other goats, do they get along?

Thank you, good info to know. I told dh I was going to ask since he said he read that somewhere online. That could have been one person's experience or something I guess

My little pygmy doe is the total boss!....he's very gentle with her...considering she can be VERY sassy!..he always behaves like a perfect gentlemen.....

I have one currently, she's never been bred so can't help w/ that, I may breed her next year. I own mostly Nigerian dwarfs, but also have a LaMancha, 2 nubians, 2 boers, all my goats get along fine. I'm going to guess that was one person's bad experience.

Here is April (sorry only pic I could find of her), She's nearly 3 years old, I've had her since she was 6 days old.

Haviris: April is sooooooo cute!!!! Love the colors!

I have a mixed herd and all my goats get along great. My Nigi wether is the brute of the group and also the smallest. I would assume that it all has to do with the way they are raised and personality. My wether was my first and I spoiled him. I thinks that is why he is bratty.

I started off with my retired dairy goat girl, Narcissa, who is an Alpine/Pygmy cross (I think), her 1/2 Boer daughter Isobelle and then added a Nigerian Pygmy wether and then two LaMancha wethers.

Other than their individual pecking order they do get along very well.
