Yesterday I was caring for my babies and I heard this "noise" and all the chicks ran for the hills... All except one little brown leghorn... He stood in the middle of the pen chest puffed up...looking quite pleased while all his penmates cowered in the corners... 8 wks old and the little bugger crowed! I know it is possible but with all the roos I have raised I have never had one crow that early! It was hysterical!
