Alright Men, What Did Ya Get Your Better Half?

My Dh got me a Harley Snuggie, a harley shirt and two pair of harley sox and 2 sheets of harley decals for my blazer window(he said it looks to bear). Not asked for but well liked
Asked for and received - 2 airbake pizza pans, a smart set alarm clock, a steam mop(been asking for a couple years lol) and a dressy black short coat I picked out myself!!

He did really good... and yet we don't buy for each other. Our two girls "do" LMAO...

We were a little short this year but I did get her a bottle of her favorite "pricey" perfume,a covered dish for her "Jewel Tea" dish collection, and a necklace and earrings from Tractor and Supply! Hey she likes there jewlery and there isn't much jewelery she does like!

Same here!! Our first Xmas together, I asked DH for a Dyson vacuum. His was a crummy...couldn't suck up anything for its life. Best vacuum ever. He still thinks it is a cheesy gift (first Xmas and he gets me a vacuum

Last year, I asked for a new sewing machine. He didn't know what to get, so I bought and told him it was from him.

I bought my wife a $200 dollar flat iron. Then of course my 4 year old nephew had to blab to her what I bought. Its ok there is a surprise Snuggie for her under the tree!

We have been together for 26 years. Now my first wife...even if I bought her what she asked for it wasn't right no matter what I did. Now to my sweetheart, my soul mate. She asked for diamond earrings. Bought her 1/2 carat per ear earrings one year. She lost them gardening...hence no more earrings. She fessed up and said "I'm a tomboy...no more diamond anything." Things have gotten much more practical since then. I still try to surprise her, but after 26 years it's getting a little hard. This year is a Big Screen High Def 46 inch Viszio LCD Flat Screen. I'm not going to complain at all about this. Glad I saved some money every month all year for a nice gift for her/us. I took care of the kids and grand kids already. I don't want anything from anyone. I have everything I need which is her and the the kids and grand kids. My wife, plus my kids are safe and happy, my grand babies safe and sound. Now if I get to watch a few High Def programs on the History Channel by getting the wife a new TV that is a bonus. I know we are very blessed.

My DH didn't get me anything. I bought (for myself) a beautiful platinum setting back in august, and asked him to find a gem, nothing too expensive, to set in it for christmas. He couldn't find anything he liked and could afford. i would have been happy with a piece of blue glass...

I got him some clothes, a dvd player for his man-cave, and a stocking full of stuff, and a project for him to do with our son. I feel like i should be mad, but I'm not really, I'm just really glad he's home, and we're all doing okay. After 11 years of being together, it has less to do with what we give each other, and more to do with WHO we are to each other. Happy Holidays!
