This year I'm putting in Jeruselem artichokes. They're somewhat invasive, and I know we'll have more of these than we need by next year. Anyone have any idea if they're ok for the chickens ? cooked I"m sure should be ok, but one never knows.
I'm growing a bunch of corn and sunflowers to help offset the cost of feeding them in the winter, which gets a little expensive when they can't/won't free range in the winter.
Anyone have any suggestions out there for a sensible crop to plant, that keeps, which can be used for feed in the winter ?
Thx !
Pete
