We had a bunch of disposable bed pads left over from my Mom. They make wonderful brooder bedding. Thin plastic on one side, like a disposable diaper (only thinner) on the other and are 24x36. Liquids go thru the top and pen is dry, little ones can get their footing like on paper towels and they are a breeze to clean up/change.

I got more at Walgreens-run about .30-.40 each, what with the price of paper towels that isn't so bad! We only use them for the first few days, so its pretty economical. Comes in a couple different sizes, too.

My tip for the day!

GREAT tip of the day.

I've suggested puppy pads but come to think of it, they come with a smell that's suppose to encourage the puppies to use them where the adult pads wouldn't.

Thanks for sharing.
