Altitude where you live and incubate?

Greetings, I am interested in: Altitude, Humidity coefficient. Reading Here on ,Incubating & Hatching Eggs, I see people having success with greatly different moisture percentages in their bators.
I would very much like to know at what altitude you live and what incubation humidity you have found worked well for you. Please when you have time let me know.

Where we live, at more than 6000 ft, we may have need for a different humidity both on days 1-18 and days 19-21. We have a few eggs in the the incubator now.

Really and truly, I have never kept track of the humidity. I did however follow each incubators instructions on when to fill one trough with water and then another.

I'm at Sea Level here on the SW Washington coast. RH is about 60% if not more.....

I usually run with only one reservoir filled on my GQF Hova-bator. I did try both reservoirs during lock-down and it felt WAY too muggy in there. Most likely this was due to our high RH to begin with....

We are on day 3 the humidity is guestamation and I'll adapt with the information received on this thread. At this time we're running at about 48%, may lower that after checking the air sack. The humidity in the house is about 20% [wood stove]. I have a friend living at about 4500ft who runs at 45-55% during days 1-18.
Your approximate elevation and humidity you have found works well will be a great help. I'll monitor this thread for that input. Thankyou.

I am at 6500 feet. I am running the bator at about 40% for the hatch that is in at the moment.
I have recorded the weight at the start and will check it at 10 days and at 18.

My goal is 15% loss across the time of incubation. This is my first hatch doing it this way so I will record my results.

Thanks for checking in. We should have like conditions. Good luck with the hatch. How did you decide on the day 1-18 humidity?
Did you calibrate you hygrometer? What is the humidity in the room where the bator is sitting?
As you see I'm using our homemade, what bator are you using?

I have a sportsman incubator. Our house humidity ranges from 30 -40 depending on the temp outside. We actually run a dehumidifier several hours a day in our house because our house is really well sealed. I have a few hygrometers and they all ready with-in a few degrees so no calibration.

I chose this humidity from reading LOTS of posts here and other places.
