Altoids Tins - In Need Of, Please

Methinks the weight of Miss P's hair is slowing her cranial blood circulation......

My daughter cannot have a purse at school. A pad in plastic wrap will NOT hold up and stay clean in a bookbag. Even the idea is just nasty to me. We also put in some peronal cleansing cloths packets.

The second thing I am doing is using them to pour in lotion bars for your purse. I don't like in jars. They are in test and I don'thave any on hand to show. Theyare out for samples and testing.

The third thing is a woman's survival kit - a tiny sewing set - (needle, thread, scissors), a tiny tweezer, a tea bag, bandaid, neospirin packet, a tampon and there is still room for more items.

Lastly - a box for checker buttons. I a cross stitching a checkerboard fo my DD with a sheperdess theme and thegame pieces are buttons made like sheep. The lid will be cross stitched.

When I pull out the craft box I'll try to make the photos.

All the ideas sound reasonable.....EXCEPT that pad box idea!!! Seriously a HORRIBLE choice. The potential for serious embarrassment is HUGE!! You sew, why not make some tiny little soft and quiet cloth container. A clunky bright pink altoid tin is just BEGGING for trouble!

Sorry. This is what she asked for and this is what she got. It may not suit your girls but it suits her fine. She is pleased with her design and idea.

I think the altoids tin is a great idea. Little bags and pouches are just as likely to get nabbed and used as a way to embarrass someone. Jerks are jerks, so denying her something fun, functional and made by mom is pretty silly.
