i saw some of those watering nipples at Tractor Supply last month or so . They were hanging on one of those clips thingies that retail stores do.....
I tried an older guinea pig bottle for chickies,,, but unfortunately they got the "ball " stuck and it just made a mess for the chickies.....
my chickies are close to 3 months.... I use s glass mugs wired to hdwe cloth of their cheapie little TS "hen house" Hubby is working on their boondongle chicken tractor now... Its been an ongoing project since before November.... changed it so many timesIt started out *** Fred Fine Fowl chicken tractor.....but naw its too small as is.... so many changes.
I am sthe 5 a food safe bucket feeder for the older chickens... but wanna eventually use more natural material like plain old wood....

Thank you iwiw, I have never see these before but I love the concept. I ordered 20 of them but they will have to send me a shipping quote. Do you know where I can buy them in the U.S.? I think I will have to follow you around and see what other gems of knowledge you have. You give me encouragement and hope that I have not bitten off more than I can chew. I'm 62, just retired and just starting my life. JOY
