1 week old chick ate a small piece of aluminum tin foil. Thoughts and suggestions?

make sure it eats and drinks plenty do not give acidic food or the acid will react with the aluminium

If you are using a good chick feed, it should get balled up and come out OK. I agree that plenty of food and water is the best treatment.
