Hello fellow backyard chickeneers, I’m so new to backyard chickens that I just order their tractor house! I only want 2-3 chickens and haven’t decided which ones I’d like. I hope they will be friendly so my 5 year old grandchildren can hold them. I’m a real newbie! However, many years ago I did spend many days on my grandparents farm. My job, of course was the daily collection of eggs. I would always pick one skinny little chick rascal out and take her to the corncrib, lavishing her with love for a few days. Then she would go back to join her friends. I’m excited to start this new adventure.
