I believe I wrote to you on wrong comment...I had said I like the Favorelles but never had them. Lol, my battery was die-ing and I went to get cord and doing so didnt pay attention and tripped on new doggie bed in my way...HAVING FUN NOW !!

REALLY? You dont keep any? I recently got 2 Orpington roosters, before then I've never had to fight with a rooster but sheesh !! Ole Meanie needs to stay in a pen bc he is always MEAN. Cannot feed or water him without a fight. I paid $50 for him, a chocolate cuckoo English Orpington. His 1 chocolate hen died within a week. It was an hour trip and I spent total 145 on the 3 Orpingtons. They are big and fluffy but I don't like being attacked.

Before this one any roo with attitude had to deal with being the bigger one and they ceased trying to tangle with me.

I just started with a new flock of pullets. My old flock, we had to get rid of because us having them was causing an issue with neighbors. :mad: We had 2 cockerals in that flock until the alpha roo decided to turn into a jerk, so we got rid of both cockerals. I am in love with the look and sound of boys, but I don't want to deal with their shenanagins . Plus my hens seemed happier and friendlier without them around.
