Always waiting

These two are always waiting for me on their railing. Yes the railings were installed for Guineas on our porch and yes there is a higher perch on the porch farther under the roof for them as well in the event of inclimate weather

Several years ago a male Guinea fowl adopted this place as his home. The deck railing was his favorite spot, and he would arrive there every morning and scream until the house was awake.

That’s adorable! I rarely see Guineas so friendly!

I'm not certain Guiseppe was friendly, but he sure was consistent and loud.

Yep, all of my adults do this at the deck door. They'll scream to beg for mealworms and millet whilst they are being voyeurs as well

That’s adorable! I rarely see Guineas so friendly!

I have a total of 19 and they are all pretty friendly and all come to call. The adults will kind of just hang out with you. I can touch all of them except for two, but they will all sit or lay beside you. They even hang out with my kids in and on their playset/tower LOL
Pistol, and Freddy, the teenagers in the picture and my original male Capt. Hook are by far the most friendly. I had a female Lavender that insisted upon always being on my shoulder

This pic in particular, they had just started free ranging & were waiting for me when I got home. Now they all come to the door when they're ready to go back in the run, but my avatar up there routinely checks on me during the day to see if I'm free for a few minutes.

I don't have nearly as many as you...,yet. But I have a few months still. Lol. My lavender male also used to perch on my shoulder. 1st mating season changed things a bit- like all boys, they leave their mama when a pretty girl turns their head.
