Am I a bad mom!?

My 5 week old ladies and one gent spent their second night in the coop. I went out this morning to turn their heat lamp off because it is going to be 80 by time I get home. All my girls I am sure will figure out how to go down the ramp but my one lame rooster is not able to. I left him up in the top part of my coop where the heat lamp is because it was still 40 degrees out this morning and with out the ladies down there I didnt want him to get sick or freeze. I am worried though that he might not be ok when I get home because he will have run out of water possibly... food isnt a problem because since he is a Cornish X he is on a restricted diet. but AM I A BAD MOM!!!!

No as long as they are protected and have food and water they will be fine.

although, if you were to EAT your Children! then..... thats a different story
