Am I a barred rock roo?

We agreed to take this roo for a friend. Is he a barred rock, male bsl, or a mutt? Just curious. He's still pretty shy so haven't got a good pic. He's been dancing around, strutting, and showing off to the ladies already though.

Just hope he is nicer than my last roo.

He looks like a typical hatchery BR rooster to me.

He's a good looking boy but that comb is kind of funky looking. Any chance you could get a better pic of comb???

It is a ROO, pullets are darker in color and Roo are lighter...but yes, His comb looks funny....can you get a close up of it?

A split comb would mean he's not "pure bred" BR. IDK if there is a pure bred BR style of chicken with the buttercup comb.

I'm guessing he's a barred mutt. Fine with me, as long as he's a nice mutt. Here's a little better pic of his comb.

Possibly be a Dominique with a rose comb?...looks more like a buttercup comb tho. Barred Muttercup
