Am I a boy?

I was just informed by another board member that my biggest little girl could possibly be a boy! I figured I'd let the rest of the board members have a look and give their thoughts too...

When I got them at a local feed store, I was told that the two dark ones were Barred Rock. I don't know enough about chickens to know if this is true and how to identify its gender.

Either way, he/she isn't going anywhere.

Do you have pics of your other barred rock? If the other is a pullet then you should be able to see the color difference

The other BR has always been a little shy and the one in question has been eager to please because I will give him with a tomato slice.

What he doesn't know is that everyone gets a tomato!

Pretty! See how the one in front is darker and has no red in her comb? Girly barred rock! Lighter with the red comb, it's a handsome boy!

Oh and another indicator is that do you see how he is feathering in slower than her? That's another classic roo sign.
