I would love to have land with trees, some contour and much less wind.... and since I'm dreaming, a stream running through it would be really cool too.

but the cool thing about this group - is there is always at least one person here with at least one more chicken than you... so you can always rationalize that at least you aren't as crazy as >>>> insert BYC name here<<<<<

:lol I think I'll take the cake on this one..... 2 months ago my father had me go with him to pic up 5 free rooster....our first five.... after talking it over with my wife we decided we too wanted fresh eggs for the family...... heres were it gets interesting....$2000, 130+ chickens, homebuild pins all over the yard... did I mention 2 MONTHS ago....I think comparativly... you've got nothing to worry about... I on the other hand might have a problem.

I don't think you should rush to label yourself like that !! 'Chicken hoarder' sounds so much worse than 'chicken lover' or 'chicken farmer' or even 'amateur chicken advocate'.


I mostly say this because I have more chickens than you, and if you are a hoarder, what does that make me?
