no, you're not. Don't beat yourself up over it! You went with your gut and got the job done, just not quite the way you wanted. Next time you need to do it, you'll know what worked. We all make mistakes.

Noooo! I don't think so either. The first time we did it, well it wasn't so good. But we have learned and know what way is best now. We prefer the ax and block of wood the best. Just make sure the ax is really good and sharp.

I felt just terrible the first time we had to deal with this kind of thing also. But you will eat chicken again.... I promise!!
