Am I a rooster?

Here is Bilbo, my Silkie x (?)




I suspect that he/she is a rooster. Recently I have been hearing cockadoodle-do's from the yard (we are the only people with chickens in the immediate area!). We have 3 other hens- 2 are laying and the other we got at the same time as Bilbo. Same breed but with a smaller comb. Neither of the silkies are laying. They are much smaller than my red and white hens (do they grow larger? They're 4 months and still pretty small).

All fingers are pointed at Bilbo as the rooster! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Roo and it looks like he could be crossed with a german appenzellar spitahauben or a mottled houdan, but I am leaning more towardsthe first one. He has really good foot feathering.
