The Barred rooster was in a coop with 2 barred hens, 2 Columbians and 2 sex links so she is selling it as a mixed breed to be safe

That make sense about the color. Anyone but the BR could be the mom. She’s very cute

I got those from the EE hen and barred unknown breed rooster. A rainbow of colors

Yeah. Perhaps I am wrong, but that feathering isn't a Barred Rock's. That just makes me wary. There have been pullets with this color too, just BSL cockerels would definitely be the most common

She told me the rooster is barred and he is in a coop with 2 barred, 2 Columbians and 2 sex Link. So it's a listed as a hybrid on the ad. But being there was sex Link in the coop and you feel like kinda looks like one I'm a bit leery lol the bird is 3 months old. This is the only other picture on the ad.

That's better than! I was afraid it was from a feed store. Perhaps Barred Rock x BSL would look like it!
