The yellow fluid is ascites or waterbelly. I lost 20 out of 50 due to this and have a posting asking if anyone knows more about it. From what I read, it is common in X.

Yep, definately signs of Heart Failure. Your best bet as you already know is to get them into the freezer.

What percentage protein? I start the 12 on 12 off feeding schedule from 10-14 daysl. 3 weeks should have been ok but it sounds like you have a very high protein diet.

Game Bird feed? what made you use that instead of meat bird? Just curious as I have used Albers brand for meat birds.
The feed store I use the owner is very knowledgable & is great to ask questions & even get answers.
