If you have too many males, yes. Too many males will stress the girls out. When I did my last butcher set (8 week olds), I thought I had all boys, but I vent sexed each one before butchering. I pulled four out. At 8 weeks, they would normally have been laying. I got my first egg out of those four yesterday, more than a week after sending the 16 boys they were with to freezer camp.I also vent checked my 1st 12 birds they were all males! Could this be a factor in low egg production?
