Today is day 14 from when I saw mine mating and still no egg. I put a baby swimming pool with straw
over my tack room in the barn, beacuse they like to hang out up there. Today my boy was laying in it.
Day 14, I think I read somewhere on here that they lay eggs 2 weeks after being bred. So if today is day 14 then you should be getting eggs very SOON!!
Glenmar
Don't give up she will lay soon. All of my peahens was late laying this year I still have around 40 that have not layed I normally have peachicks by mid April but I didn't get my first egg till April 1 and have around 60 eggs now in the incubator.
3 days ago i contacted the person i am supose to be getting IB pied chicks from and they told me it would be another 45 days before they would be laying
Seems like they would all start laying about the same time like my guineas do but i guess not.
Now i don't know if i will even get any from them cause i do not know where i stand on their list, but i got a breeding age pair so i am happy to wait till next year if i have too.
Hoping you get eggs soon! And good luck hatching!
mine laid 2 eggs about a month ago and have not laid anymore since. I saw the roo service one of the hens day before yesterday so maybe mine will lay again also!
Maybe she has laid but it is just so hidden that you haven't noticed it yet? Anyways I hope if she hasn't laid yet that she will soon and I hope she picks a good spot too.
