Am I ever getting an egg

Why would they need the lights on at night? In an outside pen they still lay in the afternoon, which might be like around 5 PM. I don't think you will need to provide them light that late, at those times they will be going to bed. -That is just my thought.

Perhaps the mating didn't take and they need to mate again?

I don't know maybe you could try it for a little bit, but I don't think you would have to keep the light on so late.

14 days is not exact but one could come at anytime, if you are going to let her sit on them you do not really need to find them.

I did see them mating again. I would like her to sit on her own eggs. I just want her to be safe.
If you guys think the barn is light enough, I will not leave the lights on. I thought it was bright enough. I guess
I am just stressing over keeping them up.

Think you need to feed a good layer feed and don't feed corn. bet you will have eggs in a week after putting then on layer or grower feed.

Thanks Deerman. Will do. Right now I am feeding gamebird pellets, corn, and occasionally dry cat food. I will throw in a sccop of layer pellets ASAP.
