Am I in trouble?

So, we bougt 4 ducks a month ago. 2 mallards and 2 pekin. Only one of them has started quacking, the other 3 still peep, also, I swear it looks like one of the mallards has a green sheen to its head! If one of the mallards is a male I'm okay with that, but, we only want 1 male!

Do you think its too early to start worrying about the sex?

I could tell my pekin was a female by her quack she was only two months old i recently traded her for a drake as i already have two females.

Do you know how old they are?

We got them from TSC when they were really little, so I would guess a week or less when we got them we brought the mallards home on 31March and the pekins home on 06April(I'm pretty sure). Only one of th pekins are quacking. She still peepes a bit too, but its mostly a quack now. The other 3 still only peep.

Is it still too early to tell if I have males?

By now you should be able to voice sex. Maybe give it another week before your too worried about it

The mallards are feathered like females... but still have no quack. :-/

So.... I still don't know the sex of my mallards. They are extremely quiet! I've tried picking them up to get some noise, but I still get peeps! How is that possible?! They mallards are almost 2 months old. The pekin I know is a female. She nver shuts up! Lol I think one of the mallards might be female, bcause I thought I might have heard a quack, but I couldn't be sure.

Any ideas?

Sorry but if all your hearing is peeps still they are most likely all males

ugh unfortunately I agree Girls tend to quack early... but boys keep peeping later. In my limited experience.
