Ok, I have 21 eggs in the incubator. I dated all of them except about 5 of them which say "TS" for tropical storm--which is when I got them.
Originally, I let the hen sit on them, but she wasn't doing a very good job and only 2 out of 10 of those survived (still in eggs).
BUT, this is my first time with eggs and I have them all in the incubator. I have been candling and they are all at different stages. All are moving and seem healthy.
People say to stop turning them like 3 days before they are supposed to hatch, but what if I'm not for certain when they are supposed to hatch? UGH!
And the directions say not to open the incubator until 2 days after they hatch--but, if I have one hatching every day, will I hurt them in any way opening it up?
Yikes, I hope this goes ok!
