I am about as far east as you can be and still be in SD proper--two feet north of me is Santee and two feet south is El Cajon!!
My neighbors have been great sports thus far. We adopted a shelter pup who has gone over, under, and through our fencing and has figured out how to let himself into, not only their yards, but their kitchens via the dog doors! Hence, the chain link fencing going up (along with an electric doggie fence)!
I'd love to see pictures of hot weather coops if you--or anyone--has any. I did check out the earlier thread that ddawn posted, and that was awesome!
