So I built my own incubator or cooler-bator and filled it with eggs. I candles them at day 5 and all showed signs of of embryo development, at day 10 still progressing and today (day 14) I candled again and every egg looks great. Air cells look good and there is embryo movement in all of them. So I guess my question is it abnormal to have started 21 eggs and after 14 days all of them look as if they may all make it. Is this just dumb luck or what. This is also the first time I've ever attempted to hatch my own eggs so a big thank you to Sally sunshine for her excellent article as well as all the others who contribute to this site

It's not dumb luck, it's choosing the right advice for your situation. Call it an educated first try with high quality fertile eggs! Congratulations on your awesome development, but don't count your chicks before they've hatched.
