Am I selling my chicks overpriced?

Yeah I get that . i could never survive 4 am mornings. I barely survive 6 am. And wow that is a ton! We have 2 dogs, a macaw, 5 chickens, some reptiles and fish

Yeah it is early I’m trying to ease back into it. Yeah it is a ton lol! You have a macaw!!!! That’s awesome what reptiles do you have? I used to own fish and a turtle!

I have to be out the door by 7:00am and I wake up read the bible for 1 hour feed and spend time with my animals and then get ready for 1 hour so yeah

Definitely a no go in my mind. Vent sexing can seriously injure chicks if done wrong and it is always good to be on the safe side when it comes to your animals health

Totally agree. And the more you let people handle your chickens, the more likely you are to introduce something into your flock. (I wouldn't let anyone touch a chick unless they were purchasing it, much less do something invasive).

If you'd like a model of a place that sells chickens with really good explanations of rules and disclaimers, google "Deer Run Farm". I think that setting rules and expectations before people arrive will save you a lot of headaches.

I have to be out the door by 6:50 so basically the same as you but the majority of that time is spent half asleep trying to hide from responsibilities followed by a 15 minute rush to get ready. thankfully the most time consuming part of that is trying to find where I left my shoes
