I was wondering if anyone can tell me if my FAVORITE Rooster is truly what breed I was told he was.

Coconut is his name and he is the coolest Rooster and has an amazing personality. When I adopted him as a chick I was told he was a Patridge Silkie, but when I look at this breed he does not look like any I have seen. Let me show you some pictures and see if that is correct or if he may be another breed.

Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

Click on the photos to see them nice and big for a better look.

This was Coconut as a Chick

This is Coconut today - he is beyond beautiful

This s Coconut next to my other 2 Silkie Roosters

So what do you think???? Patridge Silkie or something else? Help Coconut overcome his identity crisis!!!

Looks like a Faverolles hatchery quality because of the comb?? Or maybe a mix.

Wow - pretty close I think - the chicks though look different than Coconut looked. What does hatchery quality mean? I got him from my local Agway.

He could be a normal feathered partridge or red silkie rooster. It happens a lot when some silkies have normal feathering.

It's a partridge normal feathered silkie rooster. You won't be able to show him, sorry.

I am not looking to show him just trying to figure out what breed he really is. He walks the runway in my own yard just for me - lol

he looks like a Faverolles mix doesnt even appear to have any silkie in execpt for the comb and crest which could have come from anywhere.he also reminds me of a brahma in a way to.
