Am I the only crazy chicken person picking weeds in the rain for my chickens every morning?

Just wanted to know, it will make me feel better while I am up picking weeds at 7 am..
(I throw them in the run every morning. Unfortunately I cant let my chickens roam due to stray dogs.)

I do it all the time. Sometimes I just stand out in the rain and watch them eat.

LOL!! me too. My wife thinks I am nuts. I thought it would go away after the first month but its a year and I still stand in the rain watching them.

I pulled the weeds in the evening, and since we haven't seen 3 inches of rain for nearly a year, I WISH it would rain. Downside to this is that now my back yard is weed free and I have to look for weeds/grass elsewhere.....

Yeah same here I was looking at the weeds growing in my neighbours yard...

Well, as a good neighbor, you could offer to weed a little....

My dh hates birds and chickens. One day he was sitting outside when I came outside to pick the dandelions. He told me that was the one thing he liked about chickens...he had never seen me pick weeds in 21 years.

Haha! My wife is slowly warming up to my chickens.
She didnt like them at all in the beginning.
