I got my first amaracauna chick today from my local feed store any guesses on what type I got and if it's a boy or girl

Much too early to tell, I would wait until it is around 6 weeks old then post again with updated photos.

I figured as much, thank you. It is also to early to tell if it is a blue or black as well?

It looks to be a blue.

It's a Blue Ameraucana - Its too early to tell the gender yet - Did you buy them as Pullets or Straight Run? Most feed stores don't sell chicks that are male only.

They were straight run so I am crossing my fingers it's a girl LOL
