With all the happenings around town regarding chickens several of us have started the Amarillo Chicken Club.
first order of business: assemble chicken lovers in the area.
second order of business: collectively formulate plan to rescind the law making ownership of chickens on less than 1/4 acre unlawful and this will be tricky. i'm guessing there have been some irresponsible chicken owners that made enforcing a previous ordinance impossible. but, i'm not positive.
third order of business: after it is legal to be a responsible owner of chickens on less than 1/4 of an acre, we'll share information about local shows, exchange equipment, etc.
