Amazing pics of two weeks of puppy growth!!!

I know my Great Dane baby is going to grow fast and I know he is going to be a big boy but this just amazes me!!! I was looking at the pics on my phone and realized just how much he really HAS grown in only two weeks. Yes, I know not to let him eat too much and grow too fast. My vet assured me he looks great. I know he looks kinda chubby in the newer pic, but that is just the way he is being squished (it is getting hard for the kids to hold him now). He looks quite lean when he is standing. Sad thing is, we have no clue how much he has gained. According to the weight, he has only gained 3 pounds. The vet said eitehr he is growing way too slow (which he agrees he obviously is NOT) or the weight we were given when we got him was way off. He and I both think this HAS to be it so we will just wait til his next visit and see his growth rate then. Anywhoooo....here is what two weeks can do!!!

Wow! I've been threw it and it still amazes me! Of course it's been 6 years since the last one, so maybe I needed a refresher! So what's he up to now?

At his vet appointment he was 14 pounds but that was on the 15th so who knows right now. LOL My scale was in my kids bathroom and they got it wet so we have no way to find out at home. I have GOT to get a new one. I want to see how much he is gaining between visits. I have had larger breed dogs years ago but never THIS large and I am just in shock!!!!

I was foster mom to a Dane for a few weeks - he was an awesome dog - he followed me into the chicken yard off leash and did not bother any of the chickens or ducks or rabbits - even though he was already full grown and never raised around them -- such a sweet guy


I will have me a Dane * someday *

Both those kids are just adorable. WOW that puppy has grown. Your skin kid won't be holding fur kid much longer. LOL

The changes are AMAZING from 8 or 9 weeks to 12 to 14 weeks.

It is the LEGS!! Puppies grow amazing legs between these ages.

For some reason he LOVES to stick out his tongue for pics! About half the pics I got of him before he was weaned had his tongue out. I was starting to worry something was wrong! LOL I doubt any of us will hold him much longer!

He is starting to feel VERY heavy! LOL And yes, the legs! They are getting so long! It won't take him long to be very tall, I believe!

I am really enjoying watching how fast he changes.
