i am a nurse and work 12 hour night shifts. my first few nights at work after i got my chicks were awful because i was so worried about them and i ran into the house in the morning half expecting to see them dead. they were fine. anyway, i only have 3 chicks but i got them to drink out of a rabbit water bottle. they still had their regular waterer..........that got filled up with shavings one sec after i put it in........... and they used both. they are outside now full time and they still use both. it was funny the first time i hung the bottle they were like little kids at a drinking fountain!!!!
