Amazon carry sand or soil for quail bathing?

How many do you keep? How do you keep the smell down? I want to start keeping some in my room, but smell is my biggest concern. Do you have them on hardware cloth or shavings?
I always have the pair (male and female). I've noticed that it's usually the female's poop that smells the worst. Nonetheless, I keep it smelling fresh by using chucks I get from the hospital. They're somewhat like pee pads for dogs and I change them daily. I've enclosed a pic for u to see what I'm talking about. They'll also need a place to relax and stretch out on like a soft tissue bedding, soil or sand. I have my babies spoiled...kisses & all. Hehe.

Btw, in case u didn't notice, I just gave u the ghetto way to do things when u don't have the money for all that fancy shmancy stuff. Lol. I've been using the wee-wee pads for my little stinkos and it works perfectly as long as I change it daily. Listen, I must be doing something right for stinko #1 to be 5 yrs. old. Here he is with 2 of his siblings. 😍
