Hi, I just acquired 10 Amber link hens (18 weeks old) and was wondering how soon to let them free range safely.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I know you'll enjoy it here!! I've only dealt with getting older chickens with only my first 4. I keep them in the coop/run (mine was all open together) for a few days before I let them free range. At dusk they were right on the roosting ladder!!
