I'm afraid one of my Amberlink pullets isn't. Been telling myself that this bird is just the head hen, and that is why she is so "developed." There were only supposed to be pullets available, but....
I just went out to move them from their playpen back into their coop. The three in the first
photo are Sophia, Dorothy and Rose. Dorothy is so named because she has always been a little bigger, a little more argumentative and assertive than the other Golden Girls they are named for, and she developed a larger comb and wattles.
The other girls in the day spa, including some RIR pullets, came to me and were happy for me to pick them up and talk to them a bit before putting them up. Dorothy, who has never sassed me before, drew blood.
She's a he, I'm afraid?
