I have a few almost 5 week old chicks and the two I'm suspicious of are a Buff Orpington and a Sapphire Olive Egger. All were supposed to be sexed pullets but we know how Tractor Supply is (ha). The Sapphire Olive Egger I'm no longer as sus of as I used to be as she was the smallest chick in the flock and way behind the others in feather development. She also has kinda thick legs imo. But now I'm not seeing any comb or wattle development to make me think cockerel. The BO, on the other hand, has wattles for days. I thought she was definitely a pullet until a few days ago when she started pinking up so much. Nothing else about her screams roo to me, although both of the chicks in question are little meanies and will chest-bump or divebomb all the others. Anyone have opinions?
