Ameracana gender??

I don’t know about the hormones because I am only just able to keep roosters but mine is a little older than these and started crowing and couple weeks ago and now trying to mount the hens.

No the saddle and hackle feathers (back and neck). They are pointed instead of rounded. I can’t tell on the last two photos cause they are kind of fuzzy

Do you have a guess on the breed of this pulley? She was sold as an ameracana chick.

Sapphire Gem? What kind of comb? Is she laying yet?

Oh you meant breed. Yeah, no lol. I’m no good at that game. I once had a trio of Brown Leghorns I thought were blue-laced red Wyandottes until they were almost ready to lay

Her comb still looks the same, maybe pea. She's not laying.

Hm maybe not sapphire gem then. She doesn’t look like she has a beard or muffs but the comb says Ameracana? I’m still pretty new at guessing breed

She has no muffs or beards, I've heard with this breed some can not have them.

Were they sold as “Ameracana” or “Ameraucana”? If the latter, they most definitely should have beards and muffs. If the former, they are Easter Eggers. Though the first four pictures look like Ameraucanas to me. I’m not an expert but I have had true Ameraucanas from a breeder and currently have Easter Eggers
