Out of curiosity. Why did you label this Easter Egger instead of Ameracauna?

1st of all there is no such thing as an ameracauna, there is however a breed called an ameraucana, these birds lay only blue eggs and only come in a handful of colors.
Easter Eggers are a mutt, they are a cross beetween a blue egg layer and a brown egg layer, they are basically the
poor persons ameraucana. Easter Eggers also can lay brown, pink, olive, white, tinted, blue, green, and cream.

Because it doesn't meet standards of the breed. Most chickens sold by hatcheries and feed stores etc as "Ameraucana" aren't actually. A lot of times they don't know better or if they do sometimes they'll label them "Americana" instead which isn't a thing. In most cases what you have instead is an Easter Egger. Either because it is Ameraucana by blood but wasn't bred to the proper/accepted breed colors, or it is a mutt with some blue egg gene in it (which is more often the case). True Ameraucana have a guaranteed blue egg whereas Easter eggers mostly have blueish green but could lay blue, green, brown, or even pink eggs in various shades.

Your bird doesn't fit any of the breed standards. She's a non-standard color, with green legs (instead of slate) and no muffs or beard. She's an Easter Egger, and she's pretty! Here's the Ameraucana breeder's club standards gallery.
