I have 11 2 1/2 wk old meat bb's and they did not yet have a top on their inside enclosure(close to my house,dog bb sits at night) and heard them squeaking horribly and ran in and my EE hen was eating their food and had laid her 6pm egg in their straw. the bb's were quite upset and she couldn't have been in there long but I pullede her out,hopped right back,pulled her out,hopped right back and finally got a top on and she sits on that now.
