Any idea what colour this guy is? Would it go well breeding him with purebred Wheaton Ameracaunas?

Hmm, again I'm not an expert but it just doesn't settle right with me : /. I'll try and tag people who I know can help you better: @junebuggena . You could ask in the Ameraucana thread for clarification as well: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...ing-pictures-and-discussing-our-birds.260313/
and maybe these threads may help as well: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/diffences-between-ees-ameraucanas-and-araucanas.713475/

(Sorry for all the links  I wish I could help you better, I need to get some Ameraucanas myself one of these days....)

Can't think of any crossing of varieties that could produce such a bird. He is a jumbled up mess when it comes to his color genetics. He's splash, silver, and mahogany, with some possible restrictor genes. There is no possible way he is the product of any sort of variety of Ameraucana to Ameraucana breeding. He's Easter Egger, through and through.
