The hatchery named them “prairie bluebell Easter Eggers” saying it’s the mix of amer. and leghorn. Blue just looks simply ameraucana lol

Yep, that’s a pullet at point of lay. At 5 months old, if it was a rooster, you would know it. Be on the look out for some green eggs.

Green? Really? Their description said blue, but green is even cooler. How can you tell?

Reddening comb at that age with no cockerel features means pullet near point of lay.
Btw i bought 3 prairie bluebells this year. Im curious to see the eggs in a couple more months. Mine all have yellow legs which is interesting.
