Please don't feel bad about your girls being EEs. They are beautiful. I still have a couple of EE hens, and at 3 years old they are some of my best layers. It is sad that the hatcheries won't fess up, and still sell their EEs as Ameraucanas or even Araucanas. They are being purposely deceptive to their customers. And LOTS of Ameraucana breeders started out with EEs before they knew the difference.
Teddy was very young in that pic, I took some more today of him and his siblings, they are three months old now and the eye color is different. You should know that many breeds have a different eye color as chicks. These babies will have correct eye color at maturity. I'll post some new photos if they came out later! Which I hope they did, Teddy looks much different!
