Ameraucana...HEN or ROOSTER?

well, i rescued this chicken several months ago from the pound...it's yet to lay a single egg, although it's tempermant is great.
friendly birdy and such.
doesn't crow in the morn (we have a banny rooster that does that...@ 4am!!)
question: is this an Ameraucana HEN or ROOSTER...or is it even a Ameraucana?

It's an Easter Egger, not a true Ameraucana and it looks like a roo.

He might just not be that mature yet. My EE roo didn't crow until 7 months old! Now that he is crowing, at least he has a nice voice

Large comb size would indicate cockerel to me.

Easter Egger roo, (EE) and going to be very handsome! I have had about 6 of them, and all were good natured, though slow maturing. VERY nice birds!
The banties do tend to mature faster. Some can be awful noisy, but they don't have much volume, so that helps. I had one bantam who got mean- he went elsewhere to be the only roo. Last I heard, he thinks he's King of the World.

Enjoy your EE, they really are nice and interesting birds!
