Easter Eggers are technically colorful egg laying mutts that carry the blue egg gene, but not always.

Gonna say possible cockerel, but not 100% sure.

Ameraucana are a standard breed. For example, black, blue, buff, silver, etc. Feedstores and such sell mutts, or Easter egger (EE). Means they may have the blue egg gene, can be any random color but no standard variety. Chicken can lay any color egg as it is a mix and not true breed.
