This chick is about 4 wks old, and while this isn't the greatest picture, I can tell you it has "epaulette" feathers, like epaulettes on a uniform jacket. I was told it was an Ameraucana, but I suspect it's an EE. It's growing faster than I expected, and when I put it outside for a few hours a day with my other young pullets, it holds its tailfeathers upright. Kinda makes me think it may be a roo instead of a pullet. And it fluffs up its neck feathers a LOT. Wants to bump chests with the others. Do I have a boy or a girl, here?
Any clue as to the breed and gender? Thanks!
