SO I went to the website http://www.ameraucana.org/scrapbook.html and noticed some of the wheaten chicks had yellow legs. Do they turn grey over time?
It never really occurred to me until i read this post, but I recently purchased an Ameraucana chick, and am wondering if she's really an EE (though I honestly doesn't matter for me, I would still like to know for FYI purposes). She's the sweetest chicken we have. Whenever she sees me she peeps furiously as she races toward me to stand on my feet. Should I fail to pick her up in a sufficient amount of time she flaps up and tries to climb me so she can sit on my shoulder. She's SO much different than my Red, Barred Rock, or Polish. She has us all suckered at this point, so I'm really hoping she's a she. Her puffy cheeks are hilarious.
(Sorry for the thread hijack)
I probably need to get better pics since these were taken for the cute factor.
So is she an EE, or should I obtain better pics?
